Fall's in Full Swing

Collage of autumn meadows, lake views, colorful trees and a red barn at Meadow Lake Farm.

I blinked and it's suddenly Fall. We're still mowing and harvesting while the weather's spectacular. But I glanced around the field as I was fixing a fallen fence wire (deer again) then giving the shed a final sweep, and wow, Fall's in full swing!

Three scenic views of a grassy lakefront farm with trees, autumn foliage, a white house, and the text Meadow Lake Farm.

Life keeps running faster than I can post about it! We're back from Fryeburg Fair this week, I've been unearthing memories from my past lives in the shed... along with the requisite rodent and wasp nests. Miraculously, some of it has survived years of neglect as The World Turns.. like sand through the hourglass so are the days of our lives. Yes, I'm dating myself again. Those old soaps my grandparents watched will be forever etched into my brain.

I've got some exciting things happening, too, that I'll be sharing before the month's out. But for now the pears are falling faster than we can pick them, and the trees will be changing faster than I can appreciate them (leaf peepers beware).

So Fryeburg and a road trip (more on that upcoming) was exactly what was needed before I blink again and the leaves are gone.
